In 2009 WDSU interviewed Shelley Ferro, as a local money expert on their Project Economy segment. Shelley was the local liason for The Money Bus Tour,  which made 75 stops across the country promoting financial literacy and education. 

The Money Bus tour was a partnership between Kiplinger Magazine,T.D. Ameritrade, and the National Association of  Personal Financial Advisors.
